LAHSA Students are required to wear their school-provided lanyards and ID cards at all times while on the RFK campus. Students may purchase a LAHSA bracelet in place of their lanyard, but are still required to carry their school ID with them, and to present the necessary identification when asked. AYPF Visits LAHSA At the start of this semester, LAHSA hosted a delegation of state leaders coordinated by the American Youth Policy Forum. The group toured LAHSA classrooms, viewed student presentations, and learned all about our educational history and Linked Learning curriculum. Student Designers Congratulations to the following seniors for landing a role in our design team for ORLANDO : August Wilson Monologue Regional Finalists Please join us in congratulating Joey Aquino and HaBin Lee for making it to the Regional Finals in this year's August Wilson Monologue competition! They will take to the Mark Taper stage in February to compete for a spot in the national Finals held at the August Wilson Theatre. Please also congratulate the 7 other students who made it to the semi-finals: Roger Cordova, Chris de la Cruz, Tiara Jones, Shania Maestrado, Keiry Molina, Adriana Rojas, and Chris Rivas. That's a record 9 semifinalists for LAHSA this year! Linked Learning Bridges Achievement Gap LAHSA was recently honored to be one of two schools chosen to host a conference outlining the benefits of Linked Learning. State and federal legislators, as well as teachers and LAHSA students, participated in the day-long event held at both Helen Bernstein and RFK.
